There's no lack of great film festivals to attend in California in the coming months:
The Film Independent's Los Angeles Film Festival runs from June 14 through June 24, 2012.
the Palm Springs International Shortfest-Festival of Short Films and Film Market
runs from June 19 through 25, 2012,
the DocuWeek Theatrical Documentary Showcase in Los Angeles sponsored by the
International Documentary Association runs from August 16 through 30, 2012,
the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival Canceled
the San Diego Film Festival runs
from September 26 through 30, 2012,
the San Diego Asian Film Festival runs
from November 1 through 9, 2012,
the Ojai Film Festival 2011 in beautiful Ojai, CA runs from October 25 through 28, 2012.
and the AFI Fest 2011 in Los Angeles runs from November 1 through 8, 2012.
All of these are great festivals that show independent feature,
short, and documentary films. You can meet the filmmakers, attend some educational seminars, and meet some new friends and make some great contacts.
